The Data Management and Stewardship branch (DMS) of the Ministry of Health is responsible for processing most of the application for data access for a legally authorized purpose. The majority of requests processed by DMS are requests submitted by other provincial health organizations, other public bodies, or eligible researchers.
The Health and Human Services Library provides access to health and social sciences information for staff and contractors from the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Mental Health and Addictions, and the Ministry of Child and Family Development.
The province provides numerous Health publications and reports to guide professionals and policy-makers in their work, as well as to inform members of the general public.
